What is a GTMx POD?
The managed go-to-market engine we build and run for our clients, and why it starts with who you target, not how much you send.
A GTMx POD is the go-to-market engine we build and run for our clients. It figures out exactly who you should be talking to, warms those people up over time, watches for the signals that say someone's ready, and gets a real person on the phone with them when they are. It runs every day in the background, so your pipeline doesn't depend on whether your sellers had time to prospect this month.
That's the short version. Here's the longer one.
The problem it's built to solve
When I sit down with a CEO for the first time, I usually hear some version of the same story. The company grew on relationships. The founders and the first few sellers knew everybody, and that worked. Then, over time, those relationships got worked through. Some of those contacts just weren't in a buying cycle anymore.
So what happens? Your most expensive, most experienced sellers start prospecting. They're in Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo trying to figure out who to call, what to say, and how to position the company. They land a few opportunities, they get busy working those deals, and the prospecting stops. Then the deals close or die, and they go back to prospecting.
Up, down, up, down. Pipeline goes up and down, so revenue goes up and down. I've always called it feeding the beast. The sales team is always hungry, and nobody built a system to feed it.
A POD is that system. It keeps prospecting with you and for you, all the time, so the line starts to go up instead of bouncing.
Why we don't lead with volume
People ask me all the time how many emails we send. I get why, but I'd rather talk about who we're sending them to.
Your buyers are getting buried right now. Every executive I know has an inbox full of AI-written outreach that could have gone to anyone. Turning up the volume on that doesn't get you noticed. It gets you ignored faster, and it burns your domain and your reputation with the exact accounts you want to win.
What works is the opposite. A shotgun approach sprays the whole market. We'd rather take the sniper approach: fewer, better-chosen accounts, the right people inside them, and a reason to reach out that has something to do with what's actually going on in their business. When the targeting is right and the contact is warm, you don't need volume. You need timing.
What's inside a POD
Targeting comes first. Before anything goes out, we work with you to define your ideal customer profile, your buyer personas, and how those buyers actually move through a decision. Then we build the audience against that definition. We're not filtering a purchased list down to something that looks close. We go well past title, company, and location. We look at what someone's posting about, what topics they care about, what's changing at their company. That's the difference between a list and a market.
Then we listen for signals. A new executive, a funding round, an acquisition, a hiring push, someone visiting your services page twice in a week. Those are the moments when a conversation is welcome instead of an interruption, and the engine is watching for them across email, LinkedIn, your website, and the news.
Outreach is coordinated, not scattered. Email, LinkedIn, and the phone all work from the same list, the same message, and the same call to action, in sequence. Every response, from any channel, lands in one place, so the next touch knows what already happened.
People make the calls that matter. Our BDRs don't call a cold list from the top. They call the people the engine has already warmed up, the ones who've opened something, clicked something, accepted a connection, or come back to the website. It's the same phone call, just a completely different conversation, because the person on the other end has some idea who you are.
And it learns. We record and review calls, look at which messages land and which don't, and feed that back into the targeting and the messaging every week. A campaign runs and stops. An engine gets sharper the longer it runs.
You see all of it in one place through our Opportunity Intelligence Platform: which accounts are aware of you, which contacts are engaging, which campaigns are working, and what's driving traffic to your site.
What a POD isn't
It isn't a replacement for your sellers. I'm a big believer in keeping the seller in the loop. The engine finds and warms the opportunity, and your people do what they do best, which is build trust and close business.
It isn't a CRM overhaul. If your stages, attribution, or reporting need to be rebuilt, that's our CRM Evolution work. It pairs well with a POD, but it's a separate conversation.
And it isn't a one-off campaign. If you want a burst of activity for a quarter, there are cheaper ways to get that. A POD is built to run.
Who owns the data
You do. Every contact we find and enrich for you belongs to you, and we'll push it into your CRM or hand it over however works best.
How we figure out what you need
There's no fixed menu where you pick a size. We look at your market, your ICP, your offer, and your growth targets, and scope the engine around that. Some clients run one POD aimed at a single market. Others run several, each pointed at a different practice, region, or partner program.
If you want a feel for it before we talk, our POD sizing calculator lets you work backward from your revenue target to how many PODs it would take.
If your pipeline is still riding on relationships and whoever has time to prospect, let's talk about it.
